Team shebabadoo shebaboooo scoops 1st prize at Masa Square Hotel quiz night 2016 finale
Redefining the industry is a feat that Masa Square Hotel continues to champion in order to provide its customers with only the best in local hospitality.
Nestled in the heart of Gaborone’s Central Business District (CBD), the Hotel’s popular Carlitos Café came alive on 31st October’s Quiz Night. Hosted by acclaimed event MC and former radio presenter, Oratile Jazzelle Kebakile, with the Hotel’s very own DJ Deh Jah Vuh on the decks, corporates from the diamond mining industry and other friends of Masa Square Hotel battled to win amazing prizes.
Aboard the oak-brown wooden deck terrace, a touch from the Hotel’s recent May 2016 renovations, the evening convened under the theme Halloween and Other Happy Holidays, marking the finale session of 2016.Over the years, Quiz Night has become a renowned event in the Botswana calendar for the curious, the professional and socialite alike. After a series of back-to-back rounds of mind teasers amid great drinks and great food, the squad of four going by the name, Shebabadoo Shebaboooo, scooped 1st Prize.
Courtesy of Masa Square Hotel, Lusungu Sakala, Tumalano Sephatla, Lorretta Stevens, Natalie Stevens and Mpho Sinvula, each walked away with a free night’s stay voucher, kicking off end of at the month and bringing on festive with a roaring bang. Second and third place winners went home with a meal voucher for two at Don Carlos Restaurant and a four-bottle wine prize from the premier brand, Simonsig, respectively.Masa Square Hotel Sales & Marketing Manager, Neo Nkele, congratulated the contestants.

With the fabulous Hostess, Jazzelle, great questions that really get you thinking, time with friends, colleagues and great drinks, our customers had a ball,” she said. The Hotel’s popular attraction, where customers stand the chance to go home with stellar prizes ended off on a climatic note, celebrating another successful year of serving Botswana.
Quiz Nights are but one of many efforts the Hotel has implemented to complement the Hotel’s successful rebranding from May 2016, with developments that sought to up the ante on the business’ premier experience for friends and families of Masa Square Hotel to enjoy greater value. Nkele said they are trying to keep up with trends.
