Slizer back in the studio for her sixth album

Local House Kwasa queen Slizer (born Naledi Kaisara) is currently in studio recording her sixth album which will be released early this year.

In a recent interview with VIBE, the artist rubbished rife rumours that her days as the queen of House Kwasa are over because it has been a while since she released a hot album.

Slizer first stormed the market with her first album titled O tswa kae in 2008 which propelled her to stardom locally and internationally. She had many travelling stints, visiting countries like South Africa and Zimbabwe, where she is a celebrated performer.

Although she refused to name the studio and producer behind her new album, she emphasised that the album will surely bring back her glory as she has taken her time to reflect on her career.

“I am back in the studio and I promise to do my very best in this sixth album to show my maturity. As an artist who has been in the market for some years, I decided to take a break for two years so that I can record songs which will be relevant to the current times. Recording a song is not that easy as many people assume it to be and with God, I will pray for a hit which normally comes from him above,” she explained.

Although VIBE has it on good authority that the artist has roped in the best producers in the country, she remained mum on the matter. Slizer worked with local producer Bullet Ketshabile who by then was working for Sunshine Studio based in Pretoria South Africa on her first album. Following her success of her first album, she was later signed by Dargie Digital Studios who produced her next albums which were all produced by DR Tawanda.
