Young Black and Sasa Klass' shoot video for Live Your Life single

Young Black refers to the single he recently released with Sasa Klaas as a collaboration they owed to the hip hop industry in Botswana.

The video for the single called ‘live your life’ has already been shot thanks to the help of KC12 Adventures. The song recently made its debut on BTV entertainment show, Flava Dome.

As some of the popular hip hop artists in the country, the two have come with a collaboration that is sure to make a mark in the industry. Young Black explained that Sasa Klaas was the obvious choice for him because she is one female rapper whose style of rapping is similar to his. “Although it took a week to get everything together, we made the song in a day, which was a reflection of the chemistry that we have musically,” he said.

The artwork for live your life is somewhat controversial showing Sasa Klaas dressed like a man whilst Young Black is donning a wig on his head and is wearing a long dress with a slit on the side. The artwork is a pictorial representation of the message they are trying to project to the listeners of the song. “In this past year I had a chance to do a lot of travelling so I met a lot of people who were not going out there and achieving their dreams because they were afraid of what people would think and say.

But I believe that you should live your life, pursue your dreams and conquer your fears,” he explained. Young Black said that the song has been received warmly here and across borders, and has featured on popular music platforms like made2fly and slikouronlife.
