Arone sends lewd picture to BDP Whatsapp group
Many were left flabbergasted when a provocative picture of an unidentified woman was apparently sent from the number of MP of Okavango and Minister of Basic Education Bagalatia Arone to a BDP Whatsapp group. The picture and messages were leaked to social media on Tuesday evening. The controversial picture shows the seemingly hot and ready young woman lying on a table with her legs parted, dressed in a flimsy bra and striped panties that leave little to the imagination. Her crotch is bared for all to see and between her legs is a can of beer and a fork and knife nearby. It remains a mystery whether she was being served dinner or she was the dinner. Screen munched communication indicates that the picture was sent from Arone’s number to a BDP Whatsapp group called Roadmap 2019. It also shows the names and numbers of familiar figures in the BDP political circle. One group member comments: “Ke a sitega waitse,” while another comments: “A mme honourable o a bona gore o rometse eng?” Efforts to solicit a comment from Arone proved futile. Initially his phone rang unanswered but when he eventually answered he was in a foul mood. When he heard it was The Midweek Sun calling his tone suddenly changed and he angrily shouted: “What do you want? Can’t you tell that I am roaming? What comment do you want that is so urgent?” He then abruptly hung up and did not pick up calls therafter. Arone is not new to silly controversy. He was once implicated in an assault matter after he and his buddy and comrade Polson Majaga were alleged to have been involved in a fight over one “yellowbone” around Gaborone. Ironically, this mapona (naked) incident comes after SA former Minister Malusi Gigaba - of the leaked penis video of the ‘imagine this in our mouth’ fame - has been confirmed to speak on hacking at an ICT conference to be held in Gaborone later this month.
