Brand Resolve is staging the third annual Fables festival on November 4th at the Duma FM Grounds. A week ago, the company released the name of the main headliner of the show, and social media has gone crazy over the big revelation.

The artist is none other than Nigerian superstar, Tekno whose hit song Panya has been in high rotation in the continent. The line-up of local musos who will also perform at the event will be revealed soon. Tekno Miles, 25, or just Tekno born Augustine Miles Kelechi, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, producer and performer. He plays the Piano and guitar and got his big break in 2012 when he was spotted by comedian Julius Agwu, following a performance of a song titled ‘Onye Ne Kwu’ which was a remix of Ice Prince’s Oleku. According to Wikipedia, in 2013, he signed a contract with Made Men Music group and released Dance and Anything singles. He has worked with two of Nigerian popular artists -Phyno and Flavour.

In an interview with BG Style, event organisers disclosed that they have received so much love since they revealed the main act of the show. According to Alice Maygilip who is the Coordinator of the event, they decided to go with Tekno based on the whole vibe around Nigerian music in the country right now. She also says that their research has shown that Tekno is popular in the country at the moment. “The response around him is very positive since we posted on social media. The excitement around him is too much and we are getting a whole lot of feedback from people who wish to attend the show,” she says. They have also decided to move the event from December 31st based on feedback that most people are not around during that time.

“We want everyone to be able to attend the show,” she says, adding that for the third annual event they were leaving no stone unturned and wished to create an unforgettable event. “Everything including production will be on another level,” discloses Maygilip.

Pre-sold tickets are already on sale at web tickets. And they range between P175 (general) and P300 (gold circle).

Last year, Brand Resolve had brought international superstar, Rick Ross to light up the festival.
