Side chick charged P25 000 for marriage-wrecking
A two-year marriage is irretrievably broken after a side chick stole the heart of her University supervisor, Oganne Mazwigwila, who worked alongside his wife, Dr Lebo Mazwigwila at the InChrist University.
In an interview with The Midweek Sun, Dr Mazwigwila said after a while suspecting that her husband Oganne could be romantically involved with Kamogelo Frankie, she saw him driving Frankie’s car, and lied that the car belonged to someone else.
According to Dr Mazwigwila, she then took the matter to their parents for possible mediation but they also failed to unite the couple.
“I then took the matter to Donga Customary Court in Francistown where Kamogelo was charged for marriage wrecking, although my husband came in as her witness,” said Dr Mazwigwila.
Oganne, aged 44, had earlier told the Donga customary court before Kgosi Lerato Mogopodi that he met Frankie through Inchrist University. “The truth is, my marriage has been shaky since I got married,“ said Oganne, admitting that his use of Frankie’s car fuelled the conflict with his wife further.
Despite denials from the alleged lovers, Frankie and Oganne, Kgosi Lerato Mogopodi eventually charged Frankie P25 000 for marriage wrecking. Yet, in a surprising turn of events after the court's decision, Dr Mazwigwila then came out to say she was forgiving Frankie for what she did to her marriage.
“My forgiveness is based on the word of God. The Bible says we ought to forgive one another but above everything we ought to love, but I cannot remain her friend,” said Dr Mazwigwila.
In an interview with The Midweek Sun after what transpired in court, Frankie, still denying any wrong doing, said she was still puzzled by how Dr Mazwigwila could fabricate a story of marriage wrecking.
