Miss Philanthrophy Botswana reaches top three

 

Beauty queen, Antoinette Letsholo has made it to the Miss Philanthropy top three and expected to battle for the international crown in Nigeria in two weeks time.

She has made the country proud by proving to be a beautiful diamond from Botswana. She recently made it to the Top five together with Madagascar, Nigeria, Cameroon and Ghana in the Top five Miss Philanthropy Africa. The

Mochudi born queen, now residing in Oodi, shared with Vibe that she is ready to compete at the last lap of the pageantry, saying that it means a lot to reach the top three level. She will compete for the crown with other top three queens of Nigeria and Madagascar on March 16th.

The queen pleads for financial support to be able to meet all the needs and costs to get to the Miss Philanthropy Africa finale.

Letsholo hopes to get the crown and wave Botswana’s flag high at the Miss Philanthropy Africa. Miss Philanthropy Africa is a pageant that grooms women ambassadors for charity works.

Letsholo told Vibe that her biggest wish is to be crowned the Queen in Nigeria. “I hope to finish well and bring the crown home,” she said, noting that she cannot wait to share her experience and exposure with women in her community and enlighten them on how they can change their nations.

So far, she has bagged the first position in three categories. She won second position in five categories, and stands at the third position in another category. These categories were instrumental in securing her position in the top three.

Letsholo shared that her biggest inspiration right now is the reigning Miss Botswana, Lesego Chombo who is making strides at the world competition. She believes Chombo is an epitome of beauty with brains.

Letsholo hopes that her win at Miss Philanthropy Africa would help her to continue advocating for important causes, engaging with communities, and collaborating with others to make a positive impact. “Being at the top three is an achievement for me. It is a way to fulfilling my dream of changing people’s lives. Nothing beats putting a smile on someone’s face, so I’m ready to empower people within my community,” she said.
