She even went to school for this to ensure that she perfects her skills. She also had quit her job as a research officer in 2019 to focus on QueensLook Beauty Spa, which she has been engaged in since it’s establishment in 2017.
The fully fledged beauty house has become a home to many beauty lovers with their exceptional services. They offer makeup for all occasions including; day makeup, bridal makeup, corporate makeup, and evening makeup, Manicure and pedicure with artificial nails, gel overlay among others.
Massages include, Swedish, deep tissue and hot stones. For facials, they offer organic facials and deep cleansing while they also have Waxing as Vajacial, Hollywood, bikini and many more.
Bale told Vibe that it took courage for her to quit her job and focus on her business and when she looks back she is even happier to be part of the local beauty industry.
“I studied Bachelor of Social Work at the University of Botswana and worked in both government and NGOs. I did makeup and nails as part time job then finally quit my job to give my company all the attention and grow the brand,” she explained.
Bale told Vibe that growing up, she always loved anything beauty that at primary school she always got position one in beauty pageants, and at junior school she found herself trimming other students’ eyebrows during break and lunch time, something she would always get punishment for. She said that she couldn’t let her passion go to waste but saw it fit to join the industry as a professional.
She trained for makeup and nails at Shahnaz Institute of Beauty and Therapy, Tlhomamo Diamond, and DNP where she perfected her skills. The feedback she receives now is very good and she says it keeps her going. “I started doing makeup and nails only but now the spa offers other services including; massages, facials and waxing. She even has four employees and consider this as growth for her and the industry.
“I am a creative beauty therapist and I enjoy helping customers reach their beauty goals,” she said, noting that her skills, creativity, and experience sets her apart from other beauticians. She plans to have many branches across the country as she already has customers who come as far as Maun and Orapa for her services in Gaborone.
