Pesalema Eutricia Motshodi is one sophisticated creative to look out for.

She recently stolen the limelight at the recent Pula, the musical show as the lead singer. She is not new to the industry. She is a performer and a student of indigenous dance, known better as traditional dance under Mophato Dance Theatre and Director Andrew Letso Kola.

She is also an upcoming actress who first landed her acting leading role in ‘Moratiwa the musical' as Moratiwa, which was directed by the legend Socca Moruakgomo. Pesalema told Vibe that she is grateful for the opportunity she got from the Pula Musical, as it exposed her to many other creatives, and the entire world of music locally.

“I am forever thankful to Pula the Musical because without it and the God-given gifts, I wouldn’t have achieved what I did with Pula as the Lead Singer,' she said. This was Directed by Andrew Letso Kola and she was playing 'Mother of the Nation' role.

“The role depicts a brave woman of faith and enormous strength in the community which is basically who my late mother was and who I see myself becoming regardless of what I've faced in my life as a young woman,” she said, further noting that she takes from her mother as she was also a singer.

Pesalema further shared with Vibe that as a creative, she has realized that she is multitalented and can do most of the arts related works.

“I can do anything in the Arts Arena. I have recently noticed that whatever I set my mind to do, I can do and this is why I can pick up an instrument after so many years of being fearful and decide that I’m a perfect musician,” she

said.

“If a pencil is handed to me I can draw, with a brush I can paint, and a pen for me evokes my writing skills. I would write a story or a song, and use a microphone to sing or speak life,” she shared.

She is also former Miss Earth Hour Beauty Queen 2013 and former U16 National Basketball Player 2011 and has been a lead singer for 'We Must Praise' Gospel Group. Her other recognitions include being, Mophato Dance.
