Thakadu Xhaowe (68), father to deceased Obuile Nkokomane, wants his son’s killers to be hanged because they robbed him of a hardworking child.

Nkokomane was stabbed to death near Roadside Bar in Dibete village.

According to the deceased’s family, he was stabbed two times, on the neck and the left rib. The suspects in the case are Emmanuel and Phemelo Ramotsoko who are brothers.

A grieving Xhaowe said in an interview, “My wish is for them to be killed, they killed my son those bastards! They killed my lovely son, a very hardworking son,” he said, adding that he was in deep pain, one that threatens to deteriorate his health further.

Xhaowe described his late son Obuile as well-mannered and did most chores at home. He also loved playing football with boys around his neighbourhood.

The grieving father said he was thankful that the parents of the suspects in the murder case of Obuile assisted them with burial expenses saying they are at peace with the parents but not happy with their sons.

Dipuo Nkokomane (29), sister to Obuile shared that she was one of the first people to see her brother lying unconscious on the ground at Roadside bar. She was called by some people to come see her brother.

“They told me my brother had been stabbed with a knife. When I first laid my eyes on him, I could see that he was no more.'

The sister said they do not really know what led to her brother getting stabbed, but there was no indication that there was a fight or an argument on the other side of the bar.

The deceased's mother, PelePele Nkokomane (54), said on the fateful night, she was home sleeping when her children came to tell her that Obuile was no more.

“They just said Rraothata, as Obuile was known at home, is no more. My heart sank. I could not believe what I was hearing. From what I was hearing, his body had already been taken to the hospital so there was nothing I could do. The police came to me the next day late in the afternoon to officially break the sad news to me,” the mother of seven said.
