Tsheole takes over AFRINEX top job

Mauritius’ leading stock exchange AFRINEX with over US$13.3 billion market capitalisation has head hunted the Botswana’s sought after capital markets expert, Thapelo Tsheole. Tsheole’s track record include working for Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE), Botswana Stock Exchange (BSE) and recently Capital Markets Authority Rwanda. Visionary Tsheole has also previously held the position of African Securities Exchanges Association (ASEA) presidency position and is currently the Chairman of Committee of SADC Stock Exchanges (CoSSE). Tsheole’s appointment at AFRINEX is expected to scale the bourse to new heights and redefine the pan-African exchange landscape. “I feel very honoured to have been headhunted for the role and looking forward to deliver on my mandate,” said Tsheole.
