Dinare FC, a determined contender in the First Division South, is intensifying its campaign for promotion to the Botswana Premier League.

The team recently underscored its ambitious goal by securing another vital victory, defeating Thamaga Shooting Stars 3-1 in a tight and highly competitive match.

Following this result, Dinare FC Coach, Tomas Trucha, made it clear that the team's unwavering focus is on consistently collecting maximum points, and viewing continuous success as the only path to achieving promotion to the elite league.

Dinare FC has made an impressive start to their campaign, with their promotion push in the First Division showing early promise. After the first four matches, the team remains undefeated, boasting three wins and one draw.

The club has promised to maintain this momentum, focusing on collecting crucial points and competing fiercely throughout the initial round of the season.

Following the conclusion of the first round, the team will re-evaluate their standing and solidify their path toward the Premier League. While acknowledging that the journey will be challenging, Dinare FC

is confident that their determination and strategic plan will be key to achieving their ultimate goal.

Following their recent victory over Thamaga Shooting Stars, Trucha, expressed his satisfaction, stating: 'It is great to win matches, earn maximum points, and score goals in the league, especially as the season has just begun.' Trucha praised the team's effort, noting that while the start has been great so far, they understand the need to, 'work extra hard going into other matches.' He cautioned that it is, too early to talk about log standings, but emphasised the team's determination to compete and ultimately win matches, believing that if the team proves strong enough, they will successfully secure a Premier League spot.

'My players understand what this project is all about, and that is why you see them keep improving game by game,' he stated. 'Even when we drew with Taung Young Strikers, we told them not to give up but to push and work as a team. They clearly understand the importance of winning and scoring goals,' he said.

As it stands, Dinare FC is in second position in the National First Division South League, tied with Jwaneng Young Stars with 10 points each. This season promises to bring competitive, high-intensity matches in the league because there are several teams targeting promotion to the Premier League such as Security Systems, Notwane, Prisons, and Taung Young Strikers. However, only one team will gain automatic promotion, and the second-placed team will go on to the playoffs. The league has just begun, but teams are already positioning themselves to demonstrate competition.
