Murder suspect Senu Bududugo (28) of Charleshill village is back in jail after being arrested again by the police this past weekend.

Bududugo is linked to a house breaking incident that occurred in Charles Hill on the 31st of December 2022 and goods worth P21 000 were stolen.

Together with his partner in crime Boingotlo Moapare, they appeared before Gantsi Magistrate court this past Tuesday charged with house breaking and theft.

Court remanded them in custody.

Charles Hill police station commander Lefa Kareng told The Midweek Sun that the incident happened while the complainant was away for festive holidays. Upon return, they found their house close to empty, and most of their valuables gone.

“We have so far managed to recover a television set, a microwave oven, two cell phones and carpets. We will be hearing from the complainant if the list is complete or there is still more,” Kareng said.

Last year alone, they recorded seven cases of house breaking and although they are still to investigate, suspicion is that the duo might also be linked to some of the cases, Kareng said.

Bududugo is a suspect in a murder incident after he allegedly stabbed his girlfriend to death in March 2021.

He had at the time, fled and was brought to the police by close family members. He was granted bail only for him to return to court this week accused of theft.
