Juby jubilation!
Young beauty queen, Shazia Juby John wears stardom over her head when it comes to beauty pageantry.
She currently reigns as Miss Photogenic Junior Idol World 2023 and World Kids Tourism Ambassador Botswana, and is expected to represent Botswana in Malaysia in April/May this year. The gorgeous beauty was over the weekend crowned first princess at Miss Pedleen Stars Botswana 2023, alongside the queen Omphile Moremi and Pilara Thapelo, who was crowned second princess in the Little category.
For the Teen category, Florence Motswaledi was crowned the winner with the second runner up as Phatsimo Angel Oabile and first runner up Tiffany Pintes.
Shazia also received awards for Miss public choice, rising star and best traditional wear. Her supportive mother, Naval John told Vibe that the crown means a lot to her eight-year-old daughter and she is proud that she did not come empty handed.
She is happy to share that Miss Pedleen Stars Botswana had a contribution in paving a way for Shazia, as she is currently preparing for the international platform in Malaysia.
'Her participation at Miss Pedleen Stars Botswana meant a lot, as it prepared her for the world stage soon. It was very important for her to walk on the ramp as she awaits to compete at World Kids Tourism Ambassador in Malaysia,” she said.
