Right to privacy, a middle class concern (POTSHOT)

The right to privacy is mostly a middle class concern, the majority of the population with no access to medical care, who do not enjoy benefits of medical aid and who live below poverty datum line will always rate their right to health care more than to their privacy. All in all, poverty takes away your right to privacy and dignity; from the small houses that the poor crowd with their children, to sharing small spaces at government hospitals. I welcome the distribution of the contents of the phone conversation between Hon David Tshere and minister Dikoloti in the same way I always welcome the leaking of confidential documents from government agencies enclave which expose corruption. Those arguing on privacy are adopting elitist posture influenced by their class interests. (FACEBOOK)
