Members of the public are urged to come and view household and office property at the Maun Police Station.

The goods worth P100 000 were discovered from 42-year old foreign national, Meshack Sibanda who appeared in court last Friday for theft.

"The goods have been linked to six other reported cases of house break in and theft. We ask the community to come and identify their goods," Station Commander Superintendent, Orateng Chenamo said.

Chenamo explained that one case involves goods amounting close to P30 000; another involves goods amounting to P19 700; and then P55 000 for yet another case, as well as another of goods amounting to P13 300.

Sibanda was also found in possession of P2 700 worth of goods reported to be from a case of church break in.

Chenamo said it seems the intention was to transport the goods across the border. "We expect to find more goods in his possession," Chenamo said.

Sibanda will be remanded in custody and is expected to appear in court on September 6th.
